Asthma Action Plan

An asthma action plan helps the person with asthma and their career recognize. It gives you clear instructions on what to do if medical emergency occurred. Taking action can prevent asthma from getting worse. A written plan is very useful for asthmatic patients, or those who care for them. this plan tell you how to take care of asthma symptoms for e.g. every day what care should be taken to prevent symptoms, and if symptoms are very bad. This Plan should be developed together with a health care provider and family members. If this plan is used properly, the aim of making this plan definitely will success.This plan may be help people control their asthma. Your action plan may also be referred to as a crisis intervention plan, self-management instructions.

Asthma Action Plans should include the following information:

  1. You can write instructions for asthma medicines & treatment in simple language. e.g. what to do type instructions.
  2. Asthma action plan will be put it in a written format.
  3. Your plan may include common asthma symptoms and asthma symptoms which may be occur in your situation.
  4. Recommended doses as per the physicians and proper frequencies of daily medications is mention properly.
  5. Emergency telephone numbers for the doctor, emergency department, rapid transportation, and family or friends contact number should include in this list.
  6. You may also maintain previous record in emergency situation.
