Asthma Attack Symptoms

Asthma is a chronic condition that cannot be prevented or cured. The symptoms of asthma vary from person to person. Asthma attacks may be severe, moderate or mild. If you are able to recognize the early signs & symptoms of asthma attack then you can avoid crucial events like emergency room visits. The airways become swollen and production of mucus in increased all of these factors will cause the airways to narrow, result is difficulty for breathing. So it may be causing the attack of asthma. It is very important for the person suffering a severe asthma attack to get immediate help.

Asthma Attack Symptoms

Above are usually early signs and symptoms of attack.

  • Running nose is often an accompanying feature of asthma.
  • The tightening of muscles all around the airways i.e. bronchospasm.
  • Feeling sensation of anxiety or scared.
  • Acute wheezing while breathing in or breathing out
  • Feeing difficulty while talking.
  • Severe attack after viral infections.
  • Skin color or nail color turn in blue(cyanosis) this is a sign of oxygen supply is not sufficient for body.
  • Pain in the chest or pressure felt in the chest.

Treatment for Asthma Attack

Asthma can't remove from your body because many factors is responsible to grow asthma in your body. Many times our effort is not sufficient for cure asthma but proper treatment & medicine will help to cure asthma.

  1. Inhalers - These is a type of device also called puffers. Inhalers contain a gas that will propel the correct dose of medication when the top is pressed down.

  2. Nebulisers - Nebulisers make a mist of water and asthma medicine that you breathe in. Nebulisers are often used in hospital.

  3. Medicines - Many times medicines will help you in complicated or severe situation.
