a condition in which individuals suffer from a widespread narrowing of the bronchial airways, which changes in severity over short periods of time, leading to cough, wheezing and difficulty in breathing. Asthma is as lifetreating disease but by using some test we can diagnosed the asthma. Now a day there are so many techniques are used for the completely cure the the asthma. By using the asthma test the doctor will give proper suggestion for the asthma.

What are the tests for asthma?

There are given some test to diagnosed the asthma and they are as follows

  • Pulmonary Function Tests - For the determination of lung function.
  • Chest x-ray - This test is take because to find the difficulty in breathing and cough.
  • Nitric oxide test - This test regulates the binding and release of oxygen to hemoglobin.
  • Methacholine Challenge Test - The asthmatic patient will be asked to inhale increasing doses of Methacholine.
  • Peak flow measurements - To measure the lung problems.
  • The yoga and homeopathy therapies are used for the asthma treatment.
  • An arterial blood gas test can measures the levels of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the blood.
  • Anti-IgE therapy is given by injection to patients with severe asthma.
  • Reversibility test by using this test the peak flow rate is measured.
  • A spirometry test can measure how well your lungs are functioning.
  • Breathing Techniques - for reducing the asthma attack breathe out through pursed lips when whistling.
  • Allergy skin or blood tests - Some thing gives the allergic reaction.
  • Eosinophil count (white blood cell)
