The pain in the centre of the chest or upper back can result from disorders of the esophagus or from disorders of the heart or aorta. Chest pain is discomfort or pain that you feel anywhere along the front of your body between your neck and upper abdomen. Chest pain has many possible causes Cancer, Angina, Anxiety, Pulmonary embolism, asthma. Back and chest pain is often closely related.
