Lower Back Pain Symptom

  • Most preliminary symptom is pain, in the back and buttocks .Muscle spasms, cramping, and stiffness. it is accompanied by abdominal pain.
  • Leg pain which extends below the knee, it is more likely to be due to pressure on a nerve than to a muscle problem.
  • Low back pain is a steady ache or a sharp, worse acute pain with movement.
  • Numbness or weakness in the part of the leg that receives its nerve supply from a compressed nerve.
  • Worse pain in night cause of prolonged sitting, bending,twisting.
  • Longer than three months low back pain known as "chronic".
  • Acute back pain is short term where as Chronic back pain is persists for long period like as more than 2-3 months.
  • A vertebral body in the low back slips forward, causing stress on the disc below it, which causes low back pain and leg pain.
  • Irritation of small nerves that innervate the spine.
  • Difficulties in having bowel movements and passing urine.
  • Having tenderness in lower back.
  • Worst pain when you have cough and sneeze.
  • Though pain is located on one side,it radiate down both legs after disc is pressed on the nerve roots to both legs.
