Treatment of back pain

There are so many treatments are available for the back pain such as physical therapy, nerve blocks, surgery and exercise, pain medications. For finding the back pain doctors can check through the x-ray, CT scanning, MRI which gives pictures of back, and performing diagnostic injections. Now a days so many therapies are used for finding the back pain and these are also useful for the treatment. Treatments are used for the to reduce pain and improve both emotional and physical functioning. Surgery is never used to treat low back sprain and strain. Surgery is rarely used in the back pain. The back pain will improve on their own within a few days or weeks.

  • Treatment of a sprain includes icing and rest combined with anti-inflammatory medication to relieve the pain and spasm.
  • Neuromodulation including spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve stimulation, brain stimulation, and morphine pumps which is the invasive therapy.
  • Surgery for Spine fusion - Surgeons perform spine fusions to decrease motion across different motion segments.
  • Discogenic pain may be treated using ice, heat, pain relievers, anti-inflammatory medications, and bed rest.
  • Spinal manipulation from a chiropractor, osteopath, physical therapist.
  • Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are useful for the back pain treatment.
  • Antidepressant medications these are used for the to relief from the back pain.
  • Epidural steroid injections - The epidural steroid injections are anti-inflammatory medications which is used to relieve the back pain.

  • Celecoxib is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug is used to treat the back pain.
  • Physical therapy and exercise - A physical therapist treatments such as ice, electrical stimulation and muscle release techniques. By using the regular techniques we can get easily relieve from the back pain.
  • Yoga is best treatment for the back pain.
  • Inversion therapy is useful for temporary back relief due to the traction method
  • Heat therapy is useful for back spasms which may relieve the pain.
  • The use of anti-arthritis medication for back pain caused by arthritis.
  • Chiropractic care -The physical therapists have give training in spinal manipulation.
  • Biofeedback - This involves using visual cues to control the biological response to pain and stress.
