Atherosclerotic Vascular Disease - Symptoms, Causes and Treatment of Atherosclerotic Heart Disease
Atherosclerotic vascular disease (AVD) and osteoporosis or osteopenia are common conditions among postmenopausal women and appear to be linked in a manner that is not fully understood.
Both hyperhomocysteinemia and increased inflammatory activity are shown to be associated with atherosclerosis. But, the relation of inflammatory activity to homocysteine levels is not well established.
