Threading of Eyebrow

Eyebrow threading is method which removes hairs from eyebrow giving it perfect shape and look. By using thread unnecessary hairs are plucked from eyebrow. It is very easy, fast and effective method for eyebrow shaping. Eyebrow threading is originated in India but now practice in all over the world. If you are threading for first time then it should be done by skilled person. It is generally done after every 2-3 weeks. In Arabic nations threading is referred as the khite or the fatlah.

Process of Eyebrow Threading

  • Clean eyebrow area and spread powder on it for drying purpose or to remove excess oil.
  • Area under the eyebrow is first covered then arch shape is given to eyebrow and threading is finished with removal of upper eyebrow hair.
  • Cotton thread is hold between teeth by skilled person and loop is created by holding thread in thumb and first three fingers of both hands.
  • Eyelid is stretched out and by twisting the thread and pulling the hair beautician removes unnecessary hairs line wise from root.
  • Remove fallen hair from face with the help of cotton and immerse cotton in the astringent and put it on eyebrow to decrease redness.

Benefits of Eyebrow Threading

  1. Eyebrow threading does not use any harmful chemicals hence no possibility for redness or irritation.
  2. Hairs are removed from root follicle hence result lasts for long time.
  3. Method is very easy, quick and importantly cheap.
  4. People who is taking Retin-A, Accutane or other same products can also do eyebrow threading.
  5. Eyebrow threading gives better result and shape than other technique such as waxing.

Drawbacks of Eyebrow Threading

  • You have to do it with the help of trained professional because threading by inexperienced person may give extra pain, redness, ingrown hairs and incorrect shape.
  • You can not do eyebrow threading by yourself.
  • Slight pain and redness may occur because of pulling of hairs.
  • You have to repeat process after every 2-3 weeks.
