Eyebrow Wax

Eyebrow wax is specially made wax for eyebrow hair removal. It is different from other wax which is used in other body area because it is used in very sensitive area. Numerous different eyebrow waxes are present in market having different brand, quality and price. Application of eyebrow wax should be done by experienced person as it involves lot of risks. Pulling of wax may give you wrinkles or scar on face.

Types of Eyebrow Wax

Three types of basic eyebrow wax are available in market. Wax developed by different manufacturer shows different features from one another. You can choose any of them which suits on your skin.

  • Hot Wax - Hot wax required heat. Wax is heated by wax heater and that wax is applied on eyebrow area. If you are doing it for first time then it can be done by professional person. Small pain or heat is experienced by person for few minutes. It is very popular among other methods.
  • Cold Wax - Method is same for cold wax as that of hot wax but only difference is heat is not involved in this type. Application of cold wax is less messy and easier than hot wax.
  • Sugaring - Method is like that of hot and cold wax but only distinction is wax is replaced by type of sugar paste. Advantage of this method is sugar paste is not sticks to the skin. It is oldest method of hair removal.

How to Apply Eyebrow Wax

  • Purchase eyebrow waxing kit. Wax is store in jar or tub.
  • If you are using hot wax then warm wax in boiling water or wax heater.
  • Take very little amount of wax to avoid dripping.
  • With the help of small applicator or spatula spread thin layer of wax below the eyebrow in the direction of hair growth.
  • Now hairs will stick to the applied wax.
  • Before drying of wax put muslin stripes on it.
  • After few seconds pull cotton muslin stripes in opposite direction so that hairs will come out along with wax.

Tips for Eyebrow Wax

  1. Some wax may give allergic reaction when applied to sensitive skin so use only that wax which perfectly suits on your skin.
  2. Don’t overheated wax because it may responsible for burn and irritation.
  3. Avoid application of wax above brow for hair removal.
  4. When you are applying the wax on eyebrow care should be taken to avoid fall of wax on eyes.
