  • Skin Type - It is considered that laser hair removal is suitable for only specific skin type. It is true when technique is newly introduced but now with the advancement in technique you can do laser treatment on any type of skin successfully.
  • Pain - Laser hair removal does not hurt. It gives only minor irritation and redness after treatment. Cooling tip to laser carry fresh air onto skin during treatment to keep skin pain free.
  • Cost - People think that it is very expensive method but actually it is not. When you compared it with other methods it doesn't require any hair removal product and you do not require repeating it again and again like other hair removal method.   • Is Laser results permanent - Laser hair removal is most of the time considered as permanent hair removal but actually it is semi-permanent method. Rate of hair growth reduces to very large extent so it looks like permanent hair removal.

Some Other Myths about Laser Hair Removal

  1. Finer and lighter hair regrowth - Most of the people considered that after laser hair removal hairs will grow finer and lighter which is not true. It only happens in cases such as waxing or tweezing.
  2. Laser is safe - In about 95% laser treatment it does not gives any harmful effect. But in few cases adverse effect is occur so it is not safe in all situations and no grantee is given.
  3. Single treatment required - For complete hair removal only single treatment is not sufficient. Depending upon hair growth, skin and hair type it may vary.
  4. Red burns and discoloration - Red burns and discoloration occur in rare cases.
