How to make hair brows of your own?
Different types of Hair Brows
Pompom hairbow is simple and easy to make. Take a colourful ribbon and make loop of 8 to 9 inches then bind the respite of ribbon around the loop how much you want. Compress the loops and then cut all ends into triangular form. Fetch all the ends at the center so they overlie the triangles. Use thread to lock the ribbon at the center. Drag the loops and roll them towards the center. Use them in updo or in braids.
For making starburst hairbow take long ribbon how much you want and make loops of this. Lock ribbon in between thumb and index finger. Then fetch the ribbon down and make second loop at the bottom. Try again for two loops. Extra part of ribbon will lock with thread or stick with glue. Take two strips of 14 inches and one is of 5 inches from the respite of ribbon and then bunch up the 14 inches strips at the center and bind all sides of the bow. After that stick the 5 inches strip around the center.
Korkar bows are very attractive and for this take 30 parts of korkar ribbons about 3 inches. Use thread or elastic wire for fetching the bow. Place your thread on surface and heap the korkar ribbons on the thread. Then take both ends of thread and bind the knot of the thread. Drag the knot down above the heap and twist your hairbow above. for the protection tie double knot of the thread.
Tips for sealing ends of the ribbon
- Use fray check to seal the ends of the ribbon.
- Take ribbon and move the lighter speedily from the end of the ribbon.
- Use wood burning tool and put your ribbon on a cookie sheet
