Causes of Chapped Lips

There are several causes of chapped lips

  • High doses of vitamin A
  • Exposure to wind, sun, or cold, dry air
  • Breathing with an open mouth
  • Dehydration
  • High fever

  • Contact with irritants or allergens in cosmetics or skin-care products
  • Licking your lips

Treatment of Chapped Lips

Use some lip care product and theraphy.Avoid going out dry, cool, weather. Apply lip balm or petrolium jelly. You can also try coating your lips with skin moisturizer, vitamin E oil or aloe vera gel. Keep your lips properly moisturized use greasy product. Stop dehydration to drink abundance water Apply oil balm and cream. Use certified lip guard cream.

  • Rub cucumber slice on your lips
  • Apply some aleovera on your lips
  • Take salin bath
  • Avoid flavored tooth paste

Tips

  • Before applying lipstick, dab on a very small amount of lip blam or petroleum jelly to give your lips a little moisture.
  • Do not licking your lips.
