How to get rid of ingrown hairs?
An ingrown hair is nothing but a hair that changes its texture or direction of growth. By any external force or disorder, the hair starts curling back to the follicles and begins growing in the wrong direction. Many a times, a hair that cannot grow and remains in the skin also turns into an ingrown hair. These ingrown hairs can affect any area, whether it is face, neck, hands or legs. Open up space for the hair:
Rubbing the area gently will clear the dead skin from there and will let the ingrown hair come out from the skin. This is not only very easy but is said to be the natural treatment for ingrown hair. Here all you do is provide right direction t6o the hair and the problem is solved.
Application of pimple medicines:
Medicines for treating pimples are also said to be very effective in treating the ingrown hairs specially the ones which are accompanied by pus. Application of medicines for pimples which includes benzoyl peroxide or salicylic acid will do the work of curing the ingrown hairs.
Apply moist wet cloth compression:
Take a wet cloth and wet it with warm water. Now place it on the area that has ingrown hair and let it be there for few minutes. This will soften the skin and will allow the ingrown hair to tear the skin and come out easily.
Use a sterile needle or medicinal product to tear the skin:
The problem can be solved easily by just pricking the skin by a sterile needle or a medicinal product and pave out the way for the hair.
