Cancer

There is little doubt that cancer is an ever increasing cause of death.
There are many possible causes for this: fewer deaths from infection so people live longer, better diagnosis of cancer, increasing numbers of smokers, the long-term effects of exposure to pollution and probably the ingestion of more carcinogens in our food.

Ovarian Cancer - Cancer of the ovaries is the most common cancer in women after the cervical cancer. The cancerous cells affect the reproductive organs of women.

Male Cancer

Men are prey to three types of exclusive cancer: prostate, penile and testicular. Prostate cancer typically attacks the older man; penile cancer is rare while testicular cancer is increasingly common in the 20-45 years age group.

The sooner these illnesses are diagnosed, the more promising is the outlook.

Health Tip

The presence of coarse hair on the upper lip, chin and cheek is a common problem in women. It needs to be medically investigated to rule out an underlying cause (e.g. polycystic ovarian syndrome). Excess hair can be removed by various methods that include shaving, tweezing, waxing, chemical depilation and electrolysis.
