Vitamins for the Eyes: Eyes Vitamin, Eyes Good Vitamin, Eyes Supplement Vitamin

There are many vitamins for your eyes that you can take to improve your vision. I would like to take the time to tell you a little about them.

Lutein

The first one I would like to talk to you about is Lutein; Lutein is an antioxidant and an essential vitamin for your eyes. Your body cannot manufacture this vitamin so it must be derived from other sources high in lutein. Foods that are high in lutein include spinach, broccoli, collard greens, and kale. The vitamin Lutein is known for the aid in making up the retina and the macula, the macula is a specific area of the retina which governs visual acuity. Low serum levels of lutein have the tendency to increase the risks of you getting cataracts or macular degeneration. The two most common causes of macular degeneration and cataracts are sunlight exposure and free radical damage. You should make sure that you intake the proper amount of vegetables like spinach, broccoli and other leafy vegetables that are high in lutein.

If you are interested in Lutein, there are many brands on the market today. However, only on of them is identical to that which is found in nature and that is Floraglo. Floraglo is extracted from the petals f the marigold flower and is the superior vitamin to take for your eyes. By telling you this information I hope that you have realized that Florago is clearly the natural choice for the fight against macular degeneration and the cataract disease.

Bilberry

The use of Bilberry goes all the way back to the early sixteenth century.
Bilberry was traditionally used as a treatment method for diarrhea and dysentery. However, in World War Two fighter pilots came to the conclusion that bilberry in their diets seemed to improve their night vision. After all the research scientists have found that Bilberry plays an important role in improving the health of the eye and maintaining it. This is known to be especially true in the elderly people. Not only does Bilberry enhance your vision but it also aids in reduction in cataract formation and it also slows the development of macular degeneration. Bilberry is also known to assist in the strengthening of connective tissue and the formation of new capillaries.

Overall View

When choosing a vitamin for your eyes you need to make sure that you choose the proper one. You can ask your doctor to recommend a vitamin for you to take to help maintain the health of your eyes. It is very important that you maintain the health of your eyes so that you will be able to keep your vision. If you do not take care of your eyes it may result in loss of vision, and I can't imagine a day without being able to see. Vision was one of the most precious things that God has given us.

Many people wait until it is to late to try and maintain the health of their eyes, so it is important that at the very first sign of eye problems that you ask your doctor if there is a vitamin that you can take to make things a little better than they are at the time of your eye exam. Many people that suffer from diabetes have to take vitamins because diabetes takes a toll on their vision. My father has diabetes and he has to go to the eye doctor a lot due to the problems that it causes with his vision. He never knew what the diabetes was doing to his eyes until it was actually almost to late. If a problem that you face with your eyes goes without being taking care of over a period of time then you have a greater chance of not being able to fix the problem that you are having. That is why I recommend that you start taking vitamins for your overall eye health and then if you are diagnosed with a certain eye condition you can change over to a vitamin that is used for that specific area.
