Sudden or intermittent abdominal pain (often to one side or other of the navel)

Sudden, devastating pain on one side of the abdomen

I recently had a sonogram to determine the cause of left sided abdominal pain, results show a 9mm dermoid cyst on the left ovary and 8mm dermoid cyst on th right. They seem very small to cause pain. Is this common. --Chandra Ahmad
